Located north of Cincinnati, Ohio, the Clifton Plaza is a space where residents in this area can come together for many events and activities, such as yoga and concerts. The parameters of this project was to design a plaza that suited the resident’s needs; which included a bar, covered stage area, a water feature, and modular seating. The concept for this design is inspired by the streetcar and how it shaped Clifton into the place it is today by using a route map of the Cincinnati area and creating an abstracted version of it to mirror onto the plaza ground while also using the trolly method in the modular seating, mimicking the experience of a streetcar.
